Pair of armchairs from the «1-2-3 Lounge System» series, designed by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen in the 1970s. The cantilevered shell with its sinuous profile, upholstered in red fabric, rests on a swivelling anodised aluminium base: the high-back lounge version is among the most theatrical of the Danish master's system.
